在日語教育界雖然對電腦輔助語言學習有認可與否定的看法，但電腦輔助語言學習有助於個人學習，且籍由電腦輔助可幫助教師教學上能力所不及之處，我們期許能判斷學生學習進度及能力之電腦輔助語言學習系統能早日問世。 本論文擬從以下四個觀點探討及論述電腦輔助語言學習：(1)電腦輔助語言學習在日語教學之意義；(2)電腦輔助語言學習之基礎理論；(3)電腦輔助語言學習之發展史；(4)電腦輔助語言學習之今後展望。

It is still now disputable whether or not Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) is an effective method in teaching Japanese. But it obvious that CALL provides for individualized instruction, the most desirable CALL systems have been easy to implement in teaching Japanese. This paper discusses the meaning of CALL in teaching Japanese. Then, the basic theories and the use of CALL in the past will be reviewed. Finally, future direction of CALL will be proposed.
