The domestic debut of elastic base assemblies for direct fixation fastener (DFF) in the plinth track was first introduced during the initial stage of Taipei MRT construction. In line with changes of construction circumstances and the transmission of experiences, testing of the elastic base assembly resulted in substantial improvement. This article aims to describe the base plate's testing structure and testing results by means of elastic base plate material specification and qualification test for Tucheng line, and the production quality control test for the Xinzhuang and Luzhou lines.
