The concept of “Individualism” prevails in the world of 21s t century. People prefer to show their own self-consciousness and lifestyles whenever they make choices in life. Meanwhile, the rapid development of internet technology has drastically changed life models. Various statistics have shown that most people use website to collect information, to conduct learning, or to engage in leisure and consumption activities. The prevalence of various internet resources has also greatly facilitated the immergence of “Personalized” products and services. To abreast the trend, the Museum in 21s t century should evolve along with the shift of social-economic climate and start to think about putting “Personalized Visiting Experience” into reality. This is not only an opportune issue, but also a necessary way for museums to continuously operate and maintain a basic audience base. This essay focuses on new communicative methods of exhibition that are recently adopted by international museums.
