年度賽程表的排定是職業棒球聯盟最重要的例行性工作之一。賽程表安排的好壞直接影響到球隊的收入及成本。由於臺灣地區職業棒球賽的觀眾，並無明顯的地區性偏好，且票房集中在幾個主要的都會區。因此，職業運動中最常使用的“主客場制”排程規則，並無法適用於臺灣的中華職棒賽程。中華職棒賽程規劃，主要須均顧到各球隊票房的公平性，並考量不同城市、不同地區出賽次數的需求。目前中華職棒聯盟是以人工方式安排年度賽程表，須不斷調整修正，直至符合各項限制及需求，作業過程耗時費力，所得結果難以維持一致的水準。本研究針對臺灣中華職棒聯盟的排程規則及需求，利用目標規劃的方法，建立一賽程表的排程模式，提出系統性並兼具效率的方法。最後並以實際中華職棒聯盟的年度資料，對模式進行測試分析。初步結果顯示，所提模式能有效的解決職棒排程問題。

In professional baseball sport, game scheduling is one of the most important routine jobs for a sporting league. The quality of annual game schedule directly affects the income of ticket sales and the operational costs of baseball teams. In Taiwan, the most commonly used "host and guest" scheduling principle in professional sports is not applicable, because the most profitable ticket sales concentrate on some metropolitan areas and the fans do not have obvious geographical preferences. For this reason, the game schedule of professional baseball league in Taiwan is mostly determined according to ticket sales as the major factor, to equitability between teams, and to equitability between different areas or cities. Therefore the scheduling models developed in other countries cannot be applied in the game schedule of Taiwan professional baseball league. This study develops a game scheduling model for Taiwan professional baseball league based on goal programming technique. Real data from Taiwan professional baseball games have been used to test the performance of the proposed model. The test shows that the proposed model is effective and efficient.
