Children who are actively reading constitute a fundamental and integral part of the library system. Consequently, they grow up to be adults who are actively reading. Therefore, most public libraries focus primarily on children. This article illustrates the focus on children and the improvements that Taichung City Cultural Affairs Bureau has been recently implementing. Some of these improvements are special, while others include book drive-through, enticing decorative environments, the creation of "Fun Fun ABC", and reading programs for pre-school children.
