Web 2.0 強調以使用者為中心、鼓勵使用者參與，公共圖書館應用Web2.0 之概念與技術，有助提供創新服務，滿足讀者之需求。本文說明Web 2.0 之工具及其在公共圖書館之應用，以及介紹大都會公共圖書館應用Web 2.0 之現況。
Web 2.0 emphasizes the concept of user-centered design and the importance of user’s participation. The application of Web 2.0 in Public Libraries helps providing innovative services and meeting readers’ needs. This paper introduces Web 2.0 tools and applications, and the current state of the application of Web 2.0 in metropolitan public libraries.
