題名:我國離島博弈觀光旅遊意象之塑造

多年來,一些離島的居民,如澎湖,不斷爭取離島博奕合法化,其認爲可以帶來更多的工作機會和促進島上經濟,亦有些離島民眾認爲博奕合法化會帶來公共安全、生態破壞和社會成本等的惡化。無論離島博奕未來的發展爲何,遊客不會只是爲了博弈活動而來,諸如戶外遊憩、人文風光、購物觀光等休閒娛樂活動皆提昇遊客未來從事博弈觀光的意願,因此,本文嘗試從旅遊意象的角度探討我國離島倘若開放博弈觀光後,其意象的塑造和風格營造的相關議題,以供相關單位未來規劃博奕觀光時的參考。
For years, people of islands such as Penghu have fought to legalize gambling, arguing that it would bring much-needed jobs and help the islands' economies. Some people, however, think outlying islands would suffer deterioration in public safety, ecological damage and other social costs once legalized. No matter how the odds really are for developing gambling tourism in outlying islands, tourists would not come to visit one place just for gambling but for outdoor recreation, cultural landscapes and shopping. This article, therefore, is trying to explode how to establish images and styles from conception of tourism image. Some suggestions are also provided for correlative institutions to plan gambling tourism in the future as well.
