Currently, a serious financial crisis is spreading throughout the world and influencing economic development of various countries. It has also created huge impact on international relations and prospect of regional co-operation. By means of this crisis, East Asian countries have gained new momentum and facilitated the process for their economic co-operation. China, Japan and Korea have strengthened their co-operation by downplaying the argument of "leadership", and have further promoted the development of "ASEAN plus China, Japan, Korea" mechanism. The financial crisis has shrunk the markets in Europe, America and Japan and thus prompted some East Asian countries whose economies have hitherto relied on manufacturing and export to initiate self-saved co-operation and to create advantageous terms for promoting regional economic co-operation. Suffering from the current financial crisis, Taiwanese businessmen will benefit from China's adopting policies expanding domestic demands and continue their development in China.
