本研究以問卷調查之方式進行工程主辦人員應具備之專案管理知識的統計與分析，系針對現今營建工程專案管理效能不足所進行的研究。因此本研究所提出工程主辦人員應具備知識項目之重視度與滿意度，建立工程主辦人員應具備專案管理之基礎知識。現階段國內工程主辦人員對於具備國際專案管理知識體系(IPMA)各項知識之重視度相當高，但滿意度卻相當低落，代表工程主辦人員未落實執行專案管理，因此改善滿意度之關鍵須有效落實營建專案管理。運用本研究所建立之基礎知識表後可了解個人所缺乏之能力，與應補強之部份，以提升工程專案團隊的管理品質，進而增進工程專案團隊執行的效能。

This paper presents the result of a survey to investigate the knowledge requirements of project management for the engineering staffs of the public construction sector. Research results reveal that the knowledge of project management was highly valued by the engineering staffs; however, they were poorly satisfied with the current status of the project management proficiency. As a result, the improvement of the staffs' project management knowledge proficiency as well as the practical implementation of the project management skills become critical issues for the engineering staffs of the public construction sector nowadays. The paper also points out the most significant fields in IPMA project management body of knowledge for improvement. It does not only provides the managers of the public construction agencies a useful guideline to plan their future education and training programs, but also an effective tool for the staffs themselves to enhance their own project management capability.
