盲聾生的溝通方法,可以使用手語、手指語、指背點字。盲聾生的溝通輔具,有點字溝通板、無線傳輸盲用筆記型電腦、盲聾溝通器(DBC: Deafblind Communicator)。盲聾生除了使用上述的溝通法,也可以透過振動發聲法(Tadoma)學習用嘴巴說話。幫助盲聾者溝通是特殊教育的新挑戰,國外已有良好的經驗,不僅在溝通方法的使用,並且在溝通輔具的研發都值得我們學習。
