向、郭之逍遙義長期獨霸魏晉士林,為時人所無法超越,并倡適性逍遙論。支遁,東晉名僧,其逍遙新義即針對向、郭之逍遙義而發,且發向郭之所未發,最終意取而代之。陳寅恪先生認為,支遁援佛理以解逍遙,是其卓絕勝出之處。本文不擬著重於此,主要還是從支理所蘊涵的社會道德指向來對『逍遙』進行探討。
The interpretation of Guo Xiang on“Hsiao Yao Yu” had been dominating the scholars’ world for a long term in Wei and Jin Dynasties and nobody went beyond them then. Guo Xiang interpreted “Hsiao Yao Yu”as “self-easy carefreeness”.Meanwhile,Zhir Dun, a well-known monk in the Eastern Jin dynasty,proposed the New Interpretation of “Hsiao Yao Yu” as antagonisms towards Guo Xiang's, was characterized as interpretation of Zhuang Tzu by Buddhism.This article is not focused on this;however, we mainly analyze and discuss“Hsiao Yao”through Zhir Dun's theory towards the social and moral points.
