Kabaddi has long been a traditional and popular sport from India, South Asia and Southeast Asia country are very like this sport. The International Kabaddi Federation (IKAF) had endeavored to develop Kabaddi to be an official sport in 11th Asian Games in 1990. Chinese Taipei Kabaddi Federation (CTKF) became an official member of CTKF in 2008 and has been promoting Kabaddi in the country. Kabaddi has been introduced to be a demonstration sport in 2011 Taiwan sport Games with the purpose of promoting this sport to people in Taiwan. In this qualitative study, data were collected and analyzed through the interview of the president of CTKF. We conclude that the prospection of Kabaddi can be divided into three phases-(1) Between 2011 and 2013, Kabaddi will be promoted to every city. Each municipal or county athletics federation will establish a committee responsible for regularly organizing Kabaddi activities. CTKF aims to achieve 2011 Taiwan sport games. (2) Between 2011 and 2012, Kabaddi will be expected to become an official sport in National Athletics Games in Taiwan. CTKF aims to achieve the best six in King's Cup World Championship and will take part in 2014 Incheon Asian Games. (3) Between 2013 and 2014, Kabaddi will be expecting to become an official sport in Middle School and Intercollegiate Athletics Games. CTKF aims to achieve best four in King's Cup World Championship and will take part in 2014 Incheon Asian Games.
