題名:從人文理念到科技實現:真理大學外語中心永續發展行動研究

摘 要 人文與科技並非對立,反倒可以相輔相成。本研究嘗試以綠色科技來實現永續發展的人文理念,讓外語中心從類比時代順利過渡到數位時代,完成了一場媒體應用的綠色革命,不但跳脫「電腦才是王道」的迷思,讓語言教室不至淪為電腦教室,並且更減少了碳足跡和碳里程,讓地球環境得以稍作喘息。 證嚴法師(2010)演講指出「愛護地球莫高論,環保行動身力行」,在京都議定書(2005)生效,環保行動方興未艾之際,外語中心秉持 Rethink、Reduce、Repair、Reuse、Recycle 環保 5R的原則,以隨身碟取代了錄音帶,以精巧的USB裝置取代了整組電腦,以先進的衛星科技取代了落伍的傳統視訊,更以豐富心靈的優質文化,取代了媚俗的流行次文化,讓整個中心蛻變成一個環保優質的園地。 本研究類型屬行動研究(Action Research),乃是以行動來進行研究,再將行動經驗分享同儕,將研究成果傳承後進。同時設計一份問卷進行使用者滿意度分析,採用獨立樣本t檢定(Independent Samples t-test)分析,實證結果發現:(1)在職稱與任教科目方面,兩者分別對滿意度無顯著性差異;(2)在性別方面,男性老師比女性老師較易於滿意,顯示女性老師對於外語中心服務品質有較高的期許;(3)使用者對外語中心所提供的各項服務均呈現相當高的滿意度。 基於研究結果,本研究提出具體建議:(1)落實環保5R的消費觀念;(2)鼓勵教師應用教學行動研究;(3)提升工作人員服務品質;(4)加強環境維護,充實輔助教材與設備。
Abstract Humanism and Technology are not incompatible; they can actually bring about each other. This research attempts to realize the humanistic idea of sustainable development through the application of green technology. The language center of Alethia University thereby transforms smoothly from analogue era into digital era and achieves a green revolution of media application. The language center follows the 5R principles of environment friendliness, namely, Rethink, Reduce, Repair, Reuse, Recycle and deliberately replaces audio tapes with flash drives, substitutes whole sets of computers for compact USB devices, introduces satellite technology to revolutionize traditional visual sources, and above all, replaces ingratiating sub-cultural trends with refined, elegant culture. All these transform the center into an environment friendly paradise. This research goes into the category of action research. Action researchers use empirical actions to initiate useful research and bring up illuminating suggestions. Nowadays, as a result of global warming, the sustainable development of human society is threatened. This research, through the renovating action of the language center, proves that cherishing facilities and reducing energy consumption can likewise enable students to broaden their horizons and embrace refined cultures. Currently, universities in Taiwan are not easy to run; problems of administration and instruction arise in succession. This research tries to set an example for the university faculty and staff. Hopefully they can analyze the problems they confront and then find strategies to solve them step by step. After that, they can further share their experiences with one another and then work together to improve the discomforting status quo of their universities. 
