建築案例為設計者重要的設計思考資源,但常缺乏能索引內隱知識的視覺化擷取機制。本研究之目的為開發一個稱為“空間拓樸擷取”的視覺化系統,能提供(1)以配置簡圖為基礎的視覺化註解;(2)拓樸編碼時的視覺化驗證;以及(3)相關案例的視覺化擷取介面。“空間拓樸擷取”應用於一個以知識本體為基礎,以住宅案例為主的線上建築設計案例庫。“空間拓樸擷取”提供案例庫一個編碼、索引並擷取非結構化平面圖資料中所隱含的空間拓樸資訊的視覺化工具。藉由串連案例庫知識本體的關鍵字,本系統可以在線上建立空間拓樸與案例特徵的關聯性,以提升使用者對案例式建築設計相關知識的聯想。
Architectural design cases are important sources for design thinking while cases often lack of visual retrieval mechanism for indexing implicit knowledge. This paper aims to develop a visual system named Spatial Topology Retrieval (STR), which offers (1) schematic layout as visual annotation; (2) visual validation when coding topology; and (3) visual interface for retrieving related cases. STR is applied to an ontology-based on-line architectural design case library, which is composed of house design cases. STR provides the case library with a visual tool for coding, indexing and retrieving the ill-structured plane data, and their spatial topology in the design case. By cross-linking keywords of the ontology in the library, STR therefore can online establish associations of spatial topology with case's features, and assist user to associate related knowledge for case-based architectural design.
