將情緒困擾列入第六生命徵象評估，可以提供護理人員快速評估病人情緒變化，解決病人情緒困擾問題，發展護理照護計畫並應用於臨床，推動第六生命徵象（情緒困擾）評估與處置，期能獲得同儕重視病人情緒議題，共同推動以期達到全人照護之境界。
This article details the resolution of patients' emotional distress and the providence of quick assessment tools (for emotional changes) to nurses. The 6th vital sign (emotional distress) evaluation is actively promoted for clinical uses. Nursing technique protocol is built up and the completeness of the evaluation is monitored. Efforts are put in to promote the 6th vital sign (emotional distress) evaluation and clinical experience of the intervention for the purpose of emphasizing patients' emotional issues and achieving the expected holistic care.
