The purpose of this study was to develop an analytic computing model for the first three hits in table tennis match. The model provided the analytic tables for the inventory of players' performing technique and skill, including strength and weakness of the player for improve training and performance. The computing system contains Interact 9, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and Microsoft Access 2007. Video image was obtained from a national team female player who competed during the 2011 National Collegiate Table Tennis Games. The functions of this system were as follows: 1. The value of each tactic could be obtained through the analytic tables which presented the players' strength and weakness systematically. 2. The system provided search and compare functions based on game and enabled users easy to search and compare. 3. Tactic was the analytic unit, and the system allowed the coaches and players to search specific tactic execution across games. Results reveal that the computing model can effectively identify the opponent's tactics during table tennis competition and the analytic tables can also be used to summarize players' tactical and technical characteristics during the games and is considered an effective tool for improving coaching efficiency and enhance players' performance.
