Wakeboarding, an exhilarating and suspenseful sport, requires strength, speed and technique. It impressed a lot of people in the event of The World Games 2009 in Kaohsiung. Wakeboarding most likely becomes one of the sporting items in 2020 Olympics owing to the efforts made by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) during the past years (IWSF Racing, 2011). Compared with those items dominated by tall and strong figures, Wakeboarding focuses more on flexibility as well as coordination, and it is much suitable for us to practice. With the efforts of Chinese Taipei Water Ski and Wakeboard Association, Water Ski Clubs, and some related associations, the number of domestic wakeboarding players had increased from 50 to 93 since 2006 to 2011. From the other point of view, there were not so many relevant researches and articles published in Taiwan so far, with the instruction and discussion on Wakeboarding in this paper, it was expected to raise academic concerns and to give fresh impetus to this sport with more resources invested in from related authorities.
