本研究旨在探討高屏地區精神復健機構工作人員性知識現況及其差異情形。為達此目的，本研究以高屏地區精神復健機構工作人員為研究對象，並使用自編之性知識量表，共收得有效樣本193人，所得資料以SPSS 14.0電腦統計套裝軟體進行描述性統計、獨立樣本t考驗、單因子變異數分析等統計方法。主要研究發現如下：精神復健機構工作人員的性知識來源主要來自書籍雜誌、同儕朋友，以及教科書，而由學校教師、醫生與醫護人員，以及父母家人教導的比例相當低；高達69.8%的精神復健機構工作人員未曾接受過性知識相關課程之學習或訓練；精神復健機構工作人員的性知識表現會因其性別、年齡、學歷、專業背景，以及宗教信仰不同而有明顯差異。本研究依據上述研究結果加以討論，並分別對精神復健機構工作人員、精神復健機構，以及各專業養成學校提出相關建議。

The main purpose of this study was to understand sexaul knowledge of the psychiatric rehabilitation institution staff members. We developed a questionaire about the sexual knowledge and used it to assess sexaul knowledge of the psychiatric rehabilitation institution staff members. 193 participants were invited to fill in the questionnaire in Kaohsiung and Pintung city. Several important results were presented. First, we found the psychiatric rehabilitation institution staff members used to get sexual knowledge from the magzines and books. Second, there was a significant difference in sexual knowledge among staff members of age, education, profession and religion. According the above conclusions, the researchers lists some suggestions to the psychiatric rehabilitation institution, training institutions, staff members and other researchers.
