本文旨在介紹十九世紀末俄國鋼琴作曲家尼可拉斯．梅特納（Nikolai Medtner, 1880-1951）漂泊的生命旅程並分析其著名鋼琴作品《故事曲》。透過其作品內容，依曲式、旋律、節奏、力度、織度等項分析並詮釋探 討其創作重點。剖析梅特納這位幾乎被西方遺忘的俄國鋼琴巨擘的音樂貢獻及其對時代的重要意義。

The research introduces the life journey of the 19th century Russian pianist/composer, N. Medtner (1880-1951), and analysis of his famous piano work-Skazki. This study conducts a detailed in the music elements -structure, melody, rhythm, dynamics and texture. Medtner was neglected and almost forgotten in the West of his lifetime. The researcher also determines the contribution and the significance of Medtner's music.
