髕股骨疼痛症候群是常見的膝關節運動傷害之一，好發於年輕的女性運動員。近年來有許多運動員使用肌內效貼紮來減輕髕股骨疼痛症狀，因此本研究目的在探討肌內效貼紮對於髕股骨疼痛的生物力學效益，受試者共有9位髕股骨疼痛患者，觀察在上階梯時，肌內效貼紮前後的膝關節運動學是否有差異。結果發現經過貼紮後可有效降低上階梯時膝關節最大屈曲角度，表示肌內效貼紮可有效降低膝關節屈曲角度，使得關節壓力減輕，避免髕股骨關節磨損及疼痛。

Patellofemoral pain syndrome is one of the common sports injuries at knee in female athletes. Many athletes have recently used the kinesio taping to relieve patellofemoral pain. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of kinesio taping on patellofemoral pain syndrome. Nine subjects were recruited and the differences of the knee kinematics were compared before and after the use of kinesio taping. The results showed that the maximum knee flexion significantly decreased after kinesio taping during stair ascend. The findings suggested that patellofemoral joint pressure could be reduced due to decreased knee flexion following kinesio taping. Kinesio taping would be beneficial to prevent articular surface wear and pain for the victims of patellofemoral pain syndrome.
