過去多數研究已證實健身運動對於身體健康的益處,過去研究多聚焦於生理層面,然近幾年心理層面的議題逐漸受到重視。健身運動對焦慮性疾患之影響為當代心理健康研究的重要議題。本文之主要目的即是較全面地回顧健身運動對焦慮性疾患影響的文獻,並聚焦於健身運動、焦慮性疾患的定義、健身運動與整體性焦慮性疾患,以及健身運動與特定焦慮性疾患等議題作論述。本回顧顯示,無論急性或慢性健身運動可促進減緩焦慮性疾患的症狀。總結而言,急性有氧健身運動,或每週2至3次且一次約30分鐘中等強度有氧運動可改善整體或特定的焦慮性疾患;此外,該效益可能受到心房利鈉尿胜肽與大腦衍生神經滋養因子等機轉變項的影響。後續研究建議可朝特定的焦慮性疾患型態、實驗設計的精進、急性或慢性健身運動效果、機轉、健身運動內容,以及綜合性介入策略等方向進行,期建立研究者和社會大眾對該議題進一步的知識,達到最終促進社會大眾心理健康的目的。
Majority of previous research had identified that benefits of exercise on physical health, while issue of mental health have recently been well-established. However, effects of exercise on anxiety disorders were the crucial issue in mental health field. The purpose of this review was to highlight the research related to exercise and anxiety disorders with focusing on the definition of anxiety disorders, exercise and general anxiety disorders, and effect of exercise on specific types of anxiety disorders. This review revealed that acute and chronic exercise might facilitate reductions in anxiety disorder symptoms. In conclusion, 30 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic exercise, when performed at least twice a week for nine weeks, may have beneficial effects that mitigate both general and specific anxiety disorder symptoms. The underlying mechanisms of these benefits could derive from exercise-induced atrial natriuretic peptide and brain-derived neurotrophic factor. Further studies are recommended to target specific anxiety disorders, refine experimental designs, examine acute and chronic exercise effects, explore potential mechanisms, investigate components of exercise programs, and apply combination strategies to establish advanced knowledge for researcher and public and meet the goal of promoting public mental health.
