回歸以來，澳門進行了五次立法會直選。回顧這五次選舉，可以說有變化，也有發展。在這些發展變化中，政治版圖沒有太大變化，傳統左派和民主派得票都在下降，商人板塊在上升，新興勢力不易崛起，鄉族親情依然是選票的有力號召。

Five direct elections had been held for the Legislative Assembly after Reunification in 1999, during which both changes and development can be witnessed. Despite these changes and development, the political alignment has not changed significantly. The number of returns obtained by traditional left-wing groups and “democrats” are decreasing, while representations from business groups are increasing. Emerging powers is facing a difficult situation, while emotional ties between compatriots remain a powerful call for votes during the campaigns.
