Airport-Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) aims to achievecommon situational awareness and improve the predictability of events, in order to optimize the utilization of resources. The key factors to success are transparent information sharing, and close collaboration among stake holders. In this paper we introduce the six basic concept elements of A-CDM, and the 16 milestones that form its core. For the introduction of A-CDM to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), we identify six milestones that can be implemented in the short term, as well as several important milestones that should follow, and four essential decision-support systems needed to fully utilize the rich data that A-CDM supplies. The importance of capacity analysis, and its relationship to A-CDM, for TPE is also discussed.
