The literature of American law is rich and varied. It can be divided into three categories: (a) primary sources; (b) search books or finding-tools; and (c) secondary materials. The components of legal material include: judicial reports, statut帥, case-finding, legislative- history, administrative law, treaties, citators, periodical indexes, etc. This paper aims to briefIy introduce selective and important bibiiographic publicaticns of judicial reports and statutes. The characteristics of legal publications and U.S. court system are also mentioned.
