In order to understand the inclination that children appraise male and female in children's storybooks, and if the sex influences the inclination of appraisal, 476 elementary school children were selected, 274 boys and 204 girls, and were asked to complete a Questionnaire. After analyzing data, the findings as: (1) there is no inclination that children appraise male and female in children's storybooks; (2) sex influences the inclination of appraisal, boys give male high appraisal, but girls' appraisal shows no inclination. This study offers two suggestions for children's sex-typing.
