     棉布上的乾燥血跡斑先用各式 (非確定)血跡檢驗試藥、指紋增顯試藥、其他檢驗試藥與常用溶劑或指紋採驗用材料處理,這些試藥或材料是刑案現場。常用到的或是可疑血跡斑在送交實驗室鑑定之前常事先用以檢驗是否血跡的試藥;按著分別進行種屬檢驗、ABH抗原和同族酵素型檢驗以及DNA分析;以探究前述試藥或材料對後者檢驗之影響。本文研究後建議:不要在乾燥血跡斑土直接使用這些可能有害的試藥、溶劑或材料。倘若刑案現場處理人員及實驗室人員瞭解到這些潛在問題,在同樣認物上要同時獲取血清檢驗及指紋採驗二者的結果,便不致碰到干擾結果的問題。
