「延滯」可應用於設計號誌路口最佳時制計畫與評估道路服務水準、空氣污染及燃油消耗等方面,其重要性已漸為交通工程師所認知。國外延湊模式的發展已久,其成果亦豐,但是若欲應用在臺灣高機車混合車流的狀況時,其適用性仍需加以確定。本文針對定時號誌路口之車輛延滯進行研究,內容包括定時號誌路口車輛延滯模式的發展和理論分析之回顧、基本理論和觀念介紹、延滯與混合車流特性之探討,定時號誌路口車輛延滯模式之推導等。本模式包括「減速延滯」、「停等延滯」、「起動延滯」和「加速延滯」等四部分,考慮汽、機車混合車流狀況,應用「物體運動原理」、「簡單等候模式」,及「機率」等方法推導出延滯計算公式。本模式經與實際延滯資料比較,其平均每車延滯差異小於10%。
“Delay” can be applied to design optimal timing plan of signalized intersection and to evaluate LOS of highway, air pollution, fuel consumption and so on. Gradually, the importance of delay is perceived by traffic engineers. Models of delay were developed early, and many results were produced. If these models are used in Taiwan, where the mixed rate of motorcycle in traffic flow is high, the suitability of models must be indentified. This study, concent rates on the vehicular delay at fixed cycle signalized intersection, consists of review of the development and theoretic analysis of model for vehicular delay at fixed cycle signalized intersection, presentation of basic principles and concepts, discussion of characters of delay and mixed traffic flow and induction of model for vehicular delay at fixed cycle signalized intersection. This model includes four parts: declaratives delay, stopping delay, starting delay and accelerative delay. The mixed traffic flow condition is considered and the expression for estimating delay is induced by using principle of object motion, simple queuing model and probability. Comparing with realistic delay data, the difference of average delay is less than 10%.
