　　　　　本文主要探討英國圖書館館際合作制度。首先探究該國館際合作的發展源流，以瞭解其發展之溯源。大英圖書館文獻供應中心是目前該國負責館際合作的主要單位，因而務需瞭解該單位的源起、館藏、服務對象、服務方式、支援機構，以及所提供的服務項目；分析英國館際合作的特色；並探討該國未來館際合作的方式；最後提出發展我國全國圖書館之間館際互借模式的建議。
