Incorporating this Management Information System into hospital management is the trend for today's modern hospital. In the nursing field, the Nursing Information System (N.I.S.) greatly improves clinical nursing practices, education, management and research. Its main function is computerizing care plans and health records. This paper introduces available program designs, clinical applications and effectivenss which can benefit both nursing professionals and administrators.
