生物鮮阻法是一種測量身體組成的新方法,它有許多的優點,例如:操作快速、施測技巧簡單易學、不需昂貴的設備器材、可在室外場所施測、不同年齡層和不同的健康水準者都可使用等等的優點,曘重要的是生物電阻法不是一種侵體性的測量方法,不會讓接受測量的人產生不舒適的現象,約三至五分鐘即可完成,大人、小孩、病人、老年人都可以使用。但是和其它測量方法一樣,生物電阻法在應用時也有其應特別注意的事項,以免因為人為的疏忽而造成結果的誤差。在本文中除了對生物電阻法作一簡單的介紹之外,並將可能對生物電阻法的測量產生影響的兩個因子即皮膚溫度和預測公式作一說明。
