自Locke於1968年提出目標設定理論以來，在工商組織領域中已有大量的文獻證實，設定明確而困難的目標可以提昇個體的工作表現。而在運動領域中，目標設定對運動表現的影響，則尚未有一致而穩定的結果。本文主要針對目標設定在運動領域中研究設計上的一些問題，以及未來可行的研究方向提出探討。
