Based on the nature and function of technological literacy education, the major purpose of this study is to explore the relationships between the learners' aptitude and achievements in this educational program. This study is an experimental research with a new learning activity. The researchers developed this new learning activity of technological literacy education in order to differ with those of traditional industrial arts education. The experimental teaching was conducted during April to June, 1994. The subjects were 217 of 8th grade students in a same school, and taught by a same teacher. The aptitudes of subjects were collected by "the test of guidance aptitude" Tere are five conclusions found in this study. First, The learners both psychomotory and cognitive achievement are related with several different aptitudes. Second, technological literacy education does serve the nature of interdisciplinary program and the function of career exploration. Third, technological literacy education can change students learning attitudes. Forth, technological literacy education can help students to learn both declarative and procedural knowledge. Five, students have experienced the differences of technological literacy education and industrial arts education during this study.
