　　　　　在本文之目的在探討書目控制的理論與實務、書目中心的意義與內涵、國家書目 中心書目控制的意義與內涵、各國國家書目中心書目控制的現況與未來發展等。本文對於 規劃國家書目中心提出六點建議：收集各國發展經驗，敦聘專家擔任顧問，規劃任務、目 的、目標，擬定執行計畫，研究國家書目資料庫的結構及內容，探討與其他地區或國家進 行書目控制之合作事宜；以作為意欲規劃全國書目控制及國家書目中心者的參考，俾使國 家圖書館與資訊中心透過書目控制，以達資源共享的目標及有效服務讀者的使命。
　　　　　The study is to discuss the theory and practice of bibliographic control, to identify the definition and contents of bibliographic center, to identify the definition and contents of bibliographic control in national bibliographic center. and to discuss the current situation and future development of bibliographic contrlol in national bibliographic center. This study makes some suggestions for planning effective bibliographic control in national bibliographic center as follows: to collect materials: to recruit advisers; to set up mission, goals and objectivies; to make and implement action plans; to construct the organizational structure of bibliographic database; and to make plan for cooperating with other area or national bibliographic cneters. In so doing. the national bibliographic center can be well planned and managed to achieve the aim of sharing information and resources nationally and internationally; in the meatime, to achieve the mission of providing excellent services to its users.
