The purposes of this study were exploring: (1)the status of sexuality education in kindergartens; (2)the kindergarten teachers ' intention for having advaced studies; (3) the factorsrelated to sexuality education in kindergartens. 83 teachers were selectedfrom the kindergartens in Taipei City. These knidergartens wereunder municipal elementary school system. Results indicated that: (1) sources of pro fessionalknowledge of sexuality education were: taking courses, reading newspapers, comics, magazines,and watching videos; (2) the contents of sexuality education being taught most frequently were"manners in the bathroom " and "how to protect your self from being hurt "; (3) the questionsraised most frequently by children were: why a woman having the big breasts? and: why apregnant woman having a big abdomen ? ", etc.; (4) children like to tak ing off the doll's clothesfor searching the structure of body; (5) children like role play of family life; (6) children tryto satisfy their sexual curiousity by touching their sexual organs: (7) 96.4 of teachers intended to attend the in-service training It was suggested that courses related to sexulity educationshould be offered to the students of normal colleges.
