I will quote from Analects of Confucius that"What Confucius had said in formal language for those of “The Book of Odes” and “The Book of History” as well as the observation of formalities were all well intentioned criticism and that “The three hundred pieces of odes”, in general, are all about pure thinking. According to these two maxims, I will explore the relationship between the orthodox language and the purified righteousness in “The Book of Odes” and in Confucian thought.
