The purpose of the study is to investigate technology literacy and a constructing curriculum model of senior high schools. To specify, many factos including teaching goals, knowledge taxmology and students' mental development, will be taken into consideration in the domain of technology literacy. In the aspect of a constructing curriculum model, technology and culture are oriented. The teaching environment and procedure are centered, and the students' involvement and their conception output are highlighted. In a constructing curriculum model, technologies and environments emphasize the relationship between people and technologies as well as the effect of the technologies on the environments. The curricula which include materials and equipments, processing and organization as well as machines and products are stressed in development a technology system. Finally, from the technology management, assessment, policies and development, this study expect to provide an ideal constructing curriculum model to help students cultivate their technology literacy and to help promote the technology education in senior high schools in Taiwan.
