     為了建立醫學社會學內涵、輔導學生選課的需要以及能對課程做更好的規畫與改進,本研究以計質研究的方法,針對八十四學年度高雄醫學院醫學社會學系之課程綱要進行內容分析,依照系上教師們的共同概念,先將課程依其主要領域分類為健康社會、服務、行政及共通,次依實用性質將科目分為基礎、進階及應用三個層次。結果顯示,在所有課程中屬於健康社會領域的課程有46.5%,服務領域的課程有11.0 %,行政領域的課程有16.3%,其中重疊共通的領域有26.2%,充分顯示醫學社會學系科際整合性的特色。本文將對以上結果進行深入的討論,並提出進一步的建議。
     Progress through the undergraduate program depends to some degree on student's understanding of the progress of the curriculum. A clear guidance of the curriculum may have tremendous influence on students' academic achievements as well as on their future career plans. A quantitative analyses of the curriculum of the School of Medical Sociology, Kaohsiung Medical College in 1995 showed that most of the classes offered belong to the domains of health and society (46.5%), services (11.0%), and administration (16.3%). Twenty-three point seven percent of total courses are comprised of two or three domains. It is clear that courses consisting of interrelated disciplines is the major characteristic of this school. A detailed discussion of these results together with suggestions are provided in the paper.
