     道路棄土的淤沙生產方式包括紋溝及紋溝間沖蝕等坡面土壤沖蝕以及崩塌。本文針對棄土的坡面土壤沖蝕作用進行觀測,選擇5個不同堆積時間的棄土邊坡以沖蝕樁法觀測土壤沖蝕的情形,並設置一處收集槽試區以自計方式從事降雨和逕流資料的收集,觀測期間並採集逕流水樣,分析其淤沙的含量,推測觀測期間的沖蝕量。觀測資料的分析結果顯示,有效逕流量及單位降雨的沖蝕量有隨著棄土堆積時間的增長而降低的趨勢。造成此種特性的原因可能與植生的生長密切相關。
     The ways that roadside earth disposal give off sediments include rill erosion, inter-rill erosion and slumping. This study is focused on soil erosion on the road dumps. Erosion pins method was adopted to observe the erosion processes in 5 disposal sites. Another small plot was selected to collect runoff and sediments. Automatic device was installed for continuous rainfall and runoff recordings. Analysis of data reveals that both effective runoff and erosion rate decrease with increasing age of road dumps, and might be attributed to vegetation growth.
