Due to spatial interpretation in geography is faced with various dilemmas, this paper attempt sets out to divert common geographical interpretation into a temporal one. Using time as a notion to reconstruct cultural/religious activities in daily life, this paper claims that socio-political connotations are inherent in these activities. Ancestral worship rituals carried out in traditional vernacular houses by Fu-lao pepole represent a way of connection the past and the present. The connection in turn manifests the similarities and differences of perceiving time among generations.
