In the past few years, numbers of death regarding adolescent's suicide have decreased. However, from further examination, we have found that adolescent continuously facing psychosocial adaptaion crisis. This paper focused on social work intervention for preventing adolescent's suicide. Synthesized from current theoretical framworks and empirical studies, we have found that incidents of adolescent's suicide were influenced by both enviromental and individual factors. Thus this paper suggested that both adolescent in general and adolescent who tempted to commit suicide should be emphadized as target population in the future. Moreover, for social work intervention preventing youngsters from committing suicide, network-building should be the primary task for social workers. Finally, this paper proposed some guidelines for social service agencies regarding suicide prevention strategy, which explanation of how schools, families, communities can perform their functions in the network of adolescent suicide prevention.
