     本研究以實驗的方式探討人體的推力及拉力能力。實驗之結果經由統計分析顯示, 就推力方式而言,無論男性或女性皆為雙手推力比單手推力為佳;而就拉力方式來說,男性 單手拉力近乎大於雙手拉力,而女性數據顯示相反現象。至於施力高度,不論男性或女性, 隨著施力高度由156公分降低至48公分,推力值會先增加而後迅速遞減,約於腰高時其推 力值達到最大。而與推力不同的是,拉力則是隨著施力高度由156公分降低至48公分而逐 漸增加。本實驗亦顯示,腳部活動範圍受限制會降低人體之推力能力,男性受影響的程度比 女性大。最後,就推力與拉力在各施力高度下之比較,無論單手或雙手施力,男、女性受試 者之數據皆顯示,人體之拉力除了在最低(48公分)的施力高度下顯著地大於推力外,在 其餘施力高度下,其間之差異並不顯著。
     In this study, an experiment was conducted to investigate human push and pull strength. For push strength, the of the study results revealed that both male and female subjects could exert higher push strength with two hands than with one hand. For pull strength, the male subjects could still exert higher strength with one hand than exerted with two hands, however, data of female subjects showed the contrary way. Also, for both male and female subjects, as exertion height decreased from 156cm to 48cm, the trend of push strength will increase and then decrease dramatically, and the maximum strength occurred about at waist height. Different from the above push strength behavior, pull strength always increased as exertion height decreased from 156 cm to 48cm. Moreover, restriction on the range of feet movement will reduce push strength and its influence on male subjects was larger than on female subjects. Finally, no matter from the view point of one hand exertion or two hands exertion, data of both male and female were showed that human pull strength was significantly greater than push strength at the lowest exertion height (48cm), beside that exertion height, the differences were insignificant.
