地名註記擺置至今仍是一項複雜且耗時之作，大需佔50%編圖時間。本文目的主要將點、線、面註記擺置作一分析探討，以利爾後作為註記擺置自動化參考依據。

Name placement is a complex and time-consuming process which may account for up to 50% of map editing. The aim of paper is mainly to analyze the problem of labeling point, line and area feature. The result achieved to built the automation of the name placement.
