本研究目的主要是探討住院癌症病童父母的需要與病童父母之基本屬性及癌症病 童的疾病特性的相關性。採敘述性調查性研究設計，以立意取樣於某教學醫院住院癌症病童 父母43人。研究工具為「癌症病童家屬需要量表」。資料收集採訪談與問卷方式收集資料。 研究結果顯示，住院癌症病童父母常要的項目以「資訊獲得」的需要為主;其次為「社會心理 關注」及「病童身體照護方面」的需要;住院癌症病童父母的「性別」、「有無宗教信仰」、「曾 獲得照顧病童相關訊息」與其需要項目有相關;住院癌症病童「有無疾病復發或轉移」與其父 母某些特殊的需要項目有相關。

　　　　　This descriptive study examined the needs and the influential factors of parents towards children with cancer who were hospitalized. Forty-three parents, chosen from one medical center in metropolitan Taipei, Taiwan, participated in this study. After the children with cancer were admitted, the children's parents were interviewed by the researchers to complete the questionaire. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, wilcoxon rank sum test and kruskal-wallis test. There were two important findings in this study: First, the important needs of parents were related to "getting imformation", then "caring of social-psychology" and "physical care skill". Additionally, the factors of parents' "sex", "reIigion", " abtaining care information", and "haying relapse of children's disease or not" and "having metastasis of children's disease or not" influence the needs.
