　　　　　布萊德福定律乃書目計量學三大基本定律之一，主要在探討某一學科領域文獻的
分散情形。本文首先追述布萊德福定律的緣起，進而綜述後起研究對布萊德福定律的分析與
修正、布萊德福定律的應用及其與其他定律之比較，最後以作者的實證研究檢驗布萊德福文
獻分散定律，並綜合歸納布萊德福定律的疑義。
　　　　　This article describes the original Bradford's Law, which is one of the
three basic laws of bibliometrics. It explores the distribution of publications
(usually journals) in a particular discipline. In addition, the following issues
of the Bradford's Law are also discussed: 1. analysis and modification/
refinement of the Bradford's Law itself; 2. comparison with other bibliometric
laws and 3. applications and problems of the law.
