　　　　　本研究旨在擬訂左轉號誌時相設計安全準則判定方法。在安全準則的研擬過程中 ，以肇事次數、肇事率、肇事嚴重性、肇事風險、衝突次數以及衝突比例等六項作為交叉口 左轉時相設計之安全衡量指標分析的對象。並依據不同的衡量指標和左轉時相型式，建構左 轉交通肇事與衝突預測模式，並建立個別之分類安全準則臨界值。再採用績點指標法，建立 一套左轉時相設置之安全分析程序，設計出實用左轉時相設置之安全分析檢核表。利用此一 安全分析程序，可以評估目前交叉口左轉時相設置合適性，決定左轉時相之設置方式。
　　　　　This paper presents a safety criteria method developed for the installation of left-turn phasing. To develop the safety criteria, six safety indexes are taken into account, namely, accident number, accident rate, accident severity, accident risk, conflict number and conflict proportion. By using the accident quality control method, the threshold of safety criteria is determined to calculate the danger score. Using danger score as the criteria, it can be becided which left-turn phasing type should be adopted. This paper also provides the worksheet of the safety criteria method for practical application.
