晚近南斯拉夫科索伏地區發生嚴重民族衝突。隨著此一衝突的升高與蔓延，歐洲 的和平安全受到威脅。國際社會著手進行干預。有鑑於科索伏民族主義問題日趨重要，本文 就歷史因素、種族衝突、公民自決及國際干預等四個層面加以分析。其中有關民族自決與國 際客觀環境限制的部份值得國人參考。

　　　　　Recent turmoil in Kosovo has become the headlines of international media. With its possible escalation and spill-over, the peace and security of Europe is at stake. The international community cannot overlook this conflict between rival nationalist claims. On account of increasing importance of Kosovo problem, the author tries to present a analytical framework, which consists of four dimensions including historical background, national hatred, right of self-determination and implications of international intervention.
