本文係採用Treatment Effects Model探討外資對國內技術引進的貢獻。實證結 果發現，廠商採取的創新策略型態、追求的競爭優勢取向，以及產業的技術機會特質，皆會 影響其與在臺外商的技術接觸模式。而在外資比例較高的產業中，國內廠商透過在臺外商引 進技術的機率較高。雖然此一技術引進途徑並沒有為國內廠商帶來明顯較高的績效，但我們 仍然發現研發能力較強的廠商，比較能夠享受到外資產生的技術引進效益。

　　　　　This article uses the treatment effects model to investigate the technology transfer effect from foreign direct investment (FDI). The results indicate that the determinants of technology transfer mode with foreign affiliates include the type of innovative strategy local firms take, the type of competitive advantage local firms pursue, and the technological opportunity of an industry. On the whole, the higher the foreign share of an industry, the more opportunities there are local firms would acquire foreign technology from the foreign firms in Taiwan. Although there is no significantly higher performance in local firms from the transfer mode of FDI, we find that only the firms with sufficient R&D capacity can take advantage of the technology transfer effect from FDI.
