中緬聯合勘界警衛作戰是一場中緬聯合打擊盤踞在兩國邊境地區的國民黨軍殘部的特殊戰爭,是新中國支援友好鄰邦的正義戰爭,是中國人民解放軍歷史上第一次在熱帶山嶽叢林地區跨境作戰,在我軍歷史上具有里程碑式的意義。此次作戰服從了國家利益大局,破解了當時的政治外交難題,提升了中華人民共和國的國際影響力。雙方不僅協同聚剿殘餘之敵,也為我軍積累了作戰經驗,特別是為當今發展良好的中緬關係提供了有益的借鑒:注重拓展"合作共贏、睦鄰友好"的中緬關係,防範強敵介入;社會民族矛盾尖銳,誘發戰事因素增大;注重化解作戰矛盾,作戰指導有機統一;大力求解作戰難題,積極推進實戰化訓練;打造"中緬命運共同體",共同推進"全面戰略夥伴關系"建設,共商共建"一帶一路",促進互利合作共贏,造福兩國人民,不斷增進兩國人民福祉。

The Sino-Burmese joint borderland combat was a special battle fighting against the remaining force of the Kuomintang army in the borderland,a just one of new China for supporting the friendly neighbor,and the first cross-border battle of the People’s Liberation Army,which is a significant milestone in the history of PLA. This battle safeguarded our national interests,cracked the political and diplomatic problems at that time,and resulted in the enhanced international influence of the People’s Republic of China. The two sides cooperated to destroy the remaining enemy while the PLA got some valuable experience,especially helpful to the development of good Sino-Burmese relations,which includes the following aspects: focusing on the development of the win-win cooperation and good neighborly and friendly relations,preventing the enemy’s intervention,avoiding social and ethnic conflicts and war-induced factors,organizing efficient battles if necessary,constructing a"Sino-Burmese community of shared destiny"and a"comprehensive strategic partnership",and jointly implementing the Belt and Road Initiatives to benefit the people of the two countries.
