With technology-based modern society developing fast,educational anthropology has changed a lot by its integration with technology. But up to now there has been a lack of systematic analysis of the relationship between technology and educational anthropology. This paper gives an analysis of the research methods,objects and theories of educational anthropology and concludes that technology has experienced a shift from the role of assistant to a key one and played a more conspicuous part nowadays. This shift finds expression in the following aspects: from the invisible to the conspicuous,more technology-related research objects,and more research focuses in the aspects of audio-visual education,e-learning and smart education. However,the theoretical construction of educational anthropology in a new technological era is far from satisfactory though some ideas of the anthropology of technology have been accepted.
