Through the field investigation on the company A, it is found that the process of green transformation of this enterprise indicates the trend of change taking place from a slow pace to a sudden leap, from the form to the essence, from the part to the whole.In the 21 st century, enterprises’ environmental protection strategy to deal with crisis is comprehensively influenced by five factors, namely, national strategies, market crisis, public protests, public opinion crisis and pressure from governments.The green transformation of state-owned enterprises also originates from its dual attributes of economic and social responsibility, its response to the guidance of government environmental policy, as well as the advantage brought by the capital, technology, policy and institution.
